From Rock Bottom to the Mountain Top
Robbins' own life is a testament to his extraordinary ability to inspire change and peak performance in others. At 17 he left an unhappy family home with $10 in his pocket. Went to work for a human development lecturer. Watched his star rise as the media dubbed him "wonder boy" before he crashed and lost everything. He sunk into depression and gained 17 kilograms in two months. Worked as a cleaner, lived in a cramped flat - miserable, lonely and overweight. At rock bottom, he finally decided to change his life and urge others to change theirs. The rest is history.
"What made me change?" he asks. "Massive pain." He climbed out of the rut clinging to this motto: "If you want to become a success, you must never let go once you decide to do something." Today, he has annual product sales of US$50 million, flies his own jet, owns a fleet of luxury cars, and the Namale resort in Fiji.
